Compare lists without mixing up counts

Paste one text column in each box. A can be the old list and B the new list. Only in A then shows removed values, Only in B shows added values, and In both shows retained values.

1. Keep the default case-sensitive rule for identifiers where A1 and a1 may differ.
2. Enable ignore case only when letter case has no meaning. This uses JavaScript lowercase conversion, not language-specific or fuzzy matching.
3. Check duplicate totals. The result groups unique values, so two repeated lines are not two results.
4. Review the actual values before making operational changes.

Outer whitespace is trimmed, empty lines skipped and internal spaces preserved. This tool does not reorder or edit your original file, normalize accents, compare whole spreadsheets or calculate quantity changes.
